What's In My Bag //September 2017
What's in my bags have been circling around YouTube and blogs for years now as it satisfies everyone's inner nosiness and to what people have in their bags. Others like to read and watch these purely to see if there's anything useful they can put in their bags that they haven't thought of. Personally I watch/read these for both of the reasons and decided to write one myself.
The bag I use is a black faux leather backpack with gold hardware. I have two key-chains attached to the zips: one is silver and of the 'Eiffel Tower' and the second is one that says 'Paris' with a heart. I bought both key-chains from Paris. I love using a backpack as it gives you so much room to fill it with whatever your heart desires; it's also incredibly easy to be out and about carrying and backpack rather than a purse as it's hanging off your back so your hands are free.
The first thing everyone has in their bag is the obvious: a phone. I pretty much go everywhere with this and there isn't a place where I don't take it with me and I'm sure it's the same case with everyone else too.
To go with my phone I always keep the standard Apple earpods and occasionally my USB cable if I need to charge my phone in the car.
I always tend to keep a book with me even if I know I won't read it because you never know when you have some time to kill and need a good book to read. I always keep the book that I'm currently reading and as of this moment, I've started reading 'Caraval' by Stephanie Garber. I also think that the book cover is absolutely gorgeous and it's a hardback!
Sometimes, I find myself carrying Harry Styles' self-titled album that I was gifted on my birthday to listen to in the car when the radios are playing all the songs that I'm not a huge fan of which is quite often. I'm obsessed with the album and with all the songs that are in it.
A pair of sunglasses can always be found in my bag because I basically never leave the house without them (when its sunny out of course). This case just holds my favourite pair that have rounded frames with yellow/orange shades.
I keep my wallet with me in my bag though I don't really use it but it's there. I bought quite a while back and I don't remember where from either but it's there and it works.
I carry a hand sanitizer with me everywhere because I like my hands to be clean. 'Bath And Body Works' always have the best scented sanitizers and I've bought quite a few of them in the past. I always change out which one I keep but currently I have the 'Salted Pineapple Punch'.
Some sort of body lotion or hand cream can also be found in my bag. Usually I have a 'Bath And Body Works' one but I decided to change it up and keep a body lotion from a brand named 'Rituals' and it is in the scent 'White Lotus & Yi Yi Ren'.
Though I've never found myself truly needing it yet, I always keep a lipstick. The one in my bag is by 'Maybelline' and is the 'Color Sensational' in the shade 'Iced Caramel no. 625'. It's a pretty shade of light pink and works perfectly with all my other lip shades even if I don't keep the one that I'm particularly wearing that day.
I final item in my bag is a white hair tie and it's an item that everyone keeps in their bag to avoid terrible hair disasters. Of course, that's not the only thing that's always in my bag. Let's not forget about the old movie tickets and millions of Starbucks receipts that can be found when you dig in deep below.
